  • Visited the Granary for a weekend in mid April. Being a party of 5 adults with a dog, we struggled to find suitable accommodation but The Granary was prefect, beautiful spacious cottage in fabulous setting, with outdoor areas to the front and rear allowing you to make the most of the sun, which fortunately shined for us. We all loved watching the family of ducks in the next field plus the other farm animals, the garden was totally enclosed so this presented no problem for the dog. A car is needed as it’s a little remote but we’d have absolutely no hesitation booking again. Joanne was very helpful and accommodating - thank you for a great weekend

  • What a fabulous, relaxing week we had at the Granary. The cottage had everything we needed, is beautifully presented, has plenty of space and is only a few minutes drive from Abersoch. The walks along the coastal path to our favourite beach, Porth Ceiriad, were beautiful and we spotted the dolphins there again this year. There's lots to do in the area and the whole family absolutely loved it.

  • First and foremost Jo and Keith are excellent hosts, great communications and nothing is too much trouble. Cottage is great, has everything you need (including great wifi) and just outside of Abersoch, but close enough to drive in (5 mins). If you are looking for peace and tranquillity, great views and plenty of fresh air then this is the place for you. If you are looking for good food and outdoor activities, Abersoch harbour is just down the road, with a number of great bars and restaurants. So, in summary, great place for a lovely family holiday.

  • We had a great time staying at The Granary. There is everything you need in the cottage for eating in. Just open the cupboards and all the utensils, crockery, cutlery are there. There is TV, Wi-Fi and if you want to get away from technology games to play. There is a lovely seating area where you can eat outside. It is a home from home experience. The cottage is situated in a lovely peaceful spot not far from Abersoch and the surrounding area. We had some lovely evening meals/drinks out at Aberdaron and Criccieth overlooking the beach and watching the dolphins. There are some fantastic places to eat in Abersoch eg The Potted Lobster, Llanbedrog beach bar and at Castle Deudraeth in Portmeirion as well as local pubs with prices to suit all. The beaches are beautiful and great for water sport enthusiasts or you can find quieter beaches like Llanbedrog or the beach near Abersoch Marina where you can sit and relax or read a book. Can’t wait to go back. I’d rate it 5 stars.

  • We had a wonderful break at The Granery over Easter to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday.
Although the weather was cold and wet the cottage was always cosy and warm. Plenty of wood was provided for the log burner.
Booking was easy and Jo provided lots of additional information which helped us to plans our time in abersoch.
The cottage has been renovated to the highest standards and is very very clean.
The cottage is close to all the gorgeous beaches and restaurants. Our favourite was The Potted Lobster which was recommended to us by Jo. . We are already planning to book another week in the summer.

Jeff and Janet the neighbours were full of useful information and Jeff even made us a couple of his speciality Gins! We had many visits to the beautiful beaches nearby. Will definitely be returning we can highly recommend the Granary

  • We've just returned from a weekend at The Granary, 5 adults, a teenager and our dog. Jo and Keith provided detailed pre-arrival information, helping us find The Granary and preparing us for our stay. The Granary was perfectly situated for our plans - just outside the town centre and nicely hidden away near the coast. It is really homely and the kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed for our stay. The garden was securely fenced off for younger children and dogs. Geoff, the neighbour, is very friendly and happy to advise on places to go and checked in on us while there. Whilst there, we visited Whistling Sands Beach and walked the costal path to Porth Lago (our main reason for visiting the area). We also visited Nefyn (Porthdinllaen) with a walk via the golf course to Ty Coch Inn, then along the beach and back to the National Trust Car Park. We also walked the costal path from The Granary to Porth Ceiriad, this was stunning. There are numerous dog friendly pubs in the area too. We didn't have time to walk the opposite way to Hells Mouth but we plan to next time we visit. We would happily return to The Granary and we would recommend this accommodation and location.

  • We loved our stay at the Granary. It was prefect for two families with a baby each. We cooked and went on some great walks and explored the beaches. We had a lovely lunch in Abersoch which is only a short drive away as well. Couldn't recommend Joanne's home more and cant wait to come back in the summer !

  • Fantastic cottage as described. Gorgeous decor and layout. Beautiful surroundings, minutes drive from Abersoch town. Remote and peaceful, stunning scenery and amazing stars at night! We hope to come back one day.

  • Joanne's cottage is beautiful. Completely calming and relaxing, and in one of the most stunning/picturesque parts of the UK. The Granary has everything you need to make your stay feel like home from home- but stress free ! Joanne was very helpful and responded to everything in super quick time. Had a wonderful time and would highly recommend.

  • Just returned from a beautiful weekend away in such a beautiful cottage. Set around beautiful countrysides and the most stunning back drops, this is the ideal place for a break away for relaxing. Fully equipped, great decor, very stylish, clean and great attention to detail.

We walked into Abersoch, 40 minutes, great bars and restaurants and nice little shops. My husband and friends enjoyed the nearby golf courses.

I would definitely recommend this gorgeous place, thank you to our host Jo!

  • Really enjoyed our stay at The Granary. The property is beautifully decorated and the log burner creates a nice cosy atmosphere. The cottage has a very well equipped kitchen and plenty of books and games for guests. The cottage is well situated with 3 fantastic beaches close by and only a short drive to Abersoch, which has plenty of places to eat. Communication with owners was excellent and they were quick to respond to emails etc. We would definitely stay again !

Our family stay at The Granary was simply beautiful. The cottage is stunning and like many other guests have mentioned in the book, the kitchen couldn’t be better equipped. It had everything and more. We loved looking out at the cows in the field and enjoyed the utter silence of being out in the open. Such friendly neighbours next door who came out to greet us with lots of useful information. We had an actioned packed few days in Abersoch, from a relaxing pamper at The Warren Spa, to a lovely day out to Llanbedrog beach, followed by a delicious evening meal at The Tremfan Hall. Lastly, a stunning train journey on the Ffestiniog railway to end a truly wonderful holiday. We couldn’t recommend this place enough. My parent’s would be back in a heartbeat and I’m thrilled I came across it on Airbnb. So so happy. Thankyou so much Jo & Keith. Wishing you all the success in your new venture.

  • We had a fabulous time staying at the Granary. The cottage is so cosy and beautifully furnished and is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a wonderful stay. It is located in the most gorgeous, peaceful setting and we loved the coastal walks from the front door into Abersoch and round to Hells Mouth Bay. The nearby beaches are stunning. It’s a very special place and would definitely recommend x

  • A stunning cottage in a stunning location (one of the best I've stayed in). We had a fabulous weekend away. The cottage is beautifully done inside and out and feels just like home from home...and super cosy with the log burner going.

Plenty to see and do in the local area. We were only there for a couple of days but the coastal walk into Abersoch was fantastic and the beaches endless.

Will definitely be booking again for the summer!

Thank you for sharing your cottage with us.....

  • We have had the most amazing weekend in cosy, well kitted out cottage with beautiful interior design. We walked down to Ceiriad beach drinking in the stunning views; a perfect spot for some body boarding which our 2 girls took full advantage of. Our evening walk was blustery but nothing that a pair of wellies and a warm coat couldn’t deal with. Hells beach’s crashing waves and stunning sunset really delivered that Autumnal feel. We will definitely be back again to this stunning location and beautiful home. Thank you so much. 😘

  • What an amazing week we have had staying at ‘The Granary’ just outside Abersoch.
The cottage is set in a stunning location with the most beautiful views and with lovely gardens to play, dine and relax in. The neighbours are so welcoming and the cottage is just a great place to come back to after a day out or to snuggle up in and just relax!
The decor inside the cottage is so stylish and comfortable. The bedrooms and bathroom are fantastic - the shower is amazing and the kitchen is brilliant with everything you need.
We enjoyed days on Abersoch Beach, hiring paddle boards and enjoying drinks and snacks from the cafe. Hells Mouth was beautiful for a sunset walk. There are so many gorgeous places to visit and enjoy!
Thank you for an amazing stay!

  • We love the cottage and the location - so tranquil away from the Abersoch crowds!
The coastal path is beautiful and we enjoyed walking to the nearby beach and to Mickey’s boatyard for lunch.
The weather was mixed but we felt snug in Jo and Keith’s stylish holiday home, especially when it was blowing a ‘hooley’ outside!
We sampled some of the restaurants on Jo’s list and would love to come back one day and visit the rest of the recommendations. In fact, Geoff (the neighbour) has invited me back for a g and t on his boat next summer! 😂
You have a gorgeous property - I am already thinking of a girls’ weekend away at The Granary!!

  • Stayed here for 15 nights in July and from the "wow" moment of walking through the door for the first time and seeing the beautifully designed interior, to the sea views, peaceful and tranquil gardens and countryside setting, we immediately felt at home. Welcomed by the very friendly neighbours Jeff and Janet and quiet frankly didn't want to leave!
The proximity to the coastal path and the surrounding beaches was a massive plus as also was the distance from abersoch center, being a short 5 minute drive away we found far more relaxing.
Can't fault the place for the perfect base for touring Abersoch and the rest of the beautiful llyn peninsula. Will definitely be booking future dates with the lovely host Jo.

  • Stayed here June and had a wonderful time. Really lovely cottage that has a really high finish and me and my partner were very comfortable during our stay of 10 days. Had my partners elderly parents come and visit and they stayed in the bedroom downstairs which was handy. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend it for Abersoch. The beds were comfortable, the shower was powerful and the massive sofa was handy to stretch out and watch TV of a night. The kitchen was well equipped and having two fridges were very handy especially as we had a Waitrose delivery come with 10 days worth of food.

The cottage is perfectly located just a 4 minute drive from Abersoch. It’s surrounded by countryside and the coastal path is just a couple of minutes walk. Very quiet spot and a lovely sea view with Snowdonia in the background. Also met the lovely couple next door and their sweet little dog Jack.

We visited Abersoch most days and had a fantastic meal at the Potted Lobster. The farm shop on the way out of Abersoch was well stocked So not only would we recommend a stay, we’re deciding when to go back for a second visit.

Fully equipped with everything needed, plus lots of added luxury special touches to make our stay relaxing and cosy. We loved the spacious open plan kitchen and living area, great for entertainment and family time made extra special with a fantastic burner and large sofa. The bedrooms were spacious and beautifully decorated with great comfy beds and gorgeous bedding. The bathroom had a real wow factor with large shower and feature sink counter area and fresh fluffy towels. The cottage was stunningly renovated and decorated to a high standard throughout. We have rented many holiday lets in the area but none to this standard in such a beautiful and peaceful setting just a few miles from all the hustle and bustle of Abersoch centre. We will definitely be back thanks again Jo & Shane xx
